# Plans and observe-only behavior

Understand the Pro trial, feature entitlements, and what changes when billing lapses.

## Trial and plans

The current self-serve trial is Pro for 15 days with no card required. Pro, Team, and Enterprise have different feature scopes; the trial is not a trial of every Enterprise capability. The effective entitlement catalog and your workspace overrides determine access.

Examples of the current ladder include Pro authoring for rate limits and native content controls, Team proxy spend caps and compliance evidence, and Enterprise SAML/SCIM. Do not infer current price, seat count, retention, or support commitments from an old marketing table.

## Billing does not block agent execution

If a hosted trial or subscription lapses, runtime policy enforcement degrades to observe-only. Requests continue, while policy outcomes that would otherwise change execution are recorded as unenforced. This is a loss of blocking enforcement, not an uptime guarantee.

Authoring and export permissions still follow the workspace's entitlement rules. Spend caps do not override billing-driven observe-only.

## Distinguish deliberate shadow mode

A team may intentionally choose shadow mode to review a policy. Billing degradation is a different reason for non-enforcement. Keep the reason visible in decisions, aggregates, and exports so a rollout decision is not based on the wrong explanation.

## Verify your workspace

## Self-hosted installations

The self-hosted enterprise appliance is coming soon. It uses an installation license rather than hosted checkout. License expiry limits authoring and licensed configuration; runtime policy enforcement continues.
