Install from the Kastra marketplace
In Claude Code:

Authorize governance inspection
The first account tool opens an OAuth browser flow for https://api.kastra.ai/mcp/account. Select the intended workspace and scope. The plugin provides these governance skills:

The onboarding tools start a user-completed signup handoff; the current offer is a Pro trial.
Add enforcement separately
/kastra:edge-install guides the local setup. The plugin’s account tools are read-only: they do not block a coding-agent tool call by themselves. Follow Claude Code hooks and verify the result.
The hosted plugin retains the server name kastra. New local inspection setup uses kastra-edge, so both can coexist. Existing local entries may be migrated by the installer; review any host tool-permission changes. Neither inspection connection replaces the enforcement hook.
